Two Arrested After DPD Driver Found Dead Next To His Van In Horden
Two men are now in police custody after a man believed to be a DPD delivery driver was found dead next to his van yesterday morning. Local residents took to social media claiming the man had been victim to a robbery.

Emergency services rushed to a street in Horden, County Durham, at around 11.30am on Sunday morning following reports of a DPD driver collapsed next to his van.
Paramedics attended the incident but sadly the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Local residents took to social media suggesting the driver had been a victim of a robbery. A man was arrested at the scene and a further man was arrested sometime later in connection to the incident.
The area has been cordoned off ever since with police and forensic officers still at the scene as of Monday afternoon.
A police spokesperson said yesterday: "Police have launched an investigation following an incident in the Handley Street area of Horden at around 11.30am this morning.
"Officers and paramedics attended but sadly, a man was pronounced dead at the scene. One man has been arrested in connection with the incident.
"The area is currently cordoned off and officers are expected to remain at the scene for some time."
