Plymstock Crash: Man, 55, Arrested After 7-Year-Old Boy Killed In Car Crash
A 55-year-old man has been arrested after a seven-year-old boy was killed after being struck by a car in Plymstock, Plymouth this morning. The suspect is being held on suspicion of causing death by careless driving.

The young boy was struck by the vehicle while walking near Albion Oaks Rugby Club in Plymstock, a suburb of Plymouth.
The incident took place at around 11.10am this morning, February 19, on Wembury road.
The victim was rushed to a local hospital, where despite the best efforts of the medical professionals, he was tragically pronounced dead.
Devon and Cornwall Police said a man, 55, was currently in custody after being arrested on suspicion of causing death by careless driving.
Police issued a statement saying the child's next of kin had been informed. They added: "The road currently remains closed and officers from the Roads Policing Team are carrying out investigations at the scene.
"Anyone who was in the area at the time and has dash cam footage or any information which may assist our enquiries is asked to report it online quoting log 331 of February 19."
